SIMPLE GUIDELINES TO SERVE YOU BETTER

 

  • Houseboats have limited facilities and resources. Do not compare with the facilities of Hotels or Resorts.
  • The storage capacity of the water tank in the Houseboat is limited. So please do not waste water. Keep the tap closed after use.
  • Please remember to switch off fans, and lights while not in use. In case of failure of electricity, water supply, A/C, etc. please inform the crew immediately.
  • Please do not drop sanitary napkins, plastics, and other insoluble things in the closet.
  • For Deluxe booking A/C would be facilitated only in the Bedroom from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM. For Premium/Luxury booking A/C can use full time.
  • In some rare cases like windy or rainy conditions, some voltage drops may happen at night. In that case, the A/C will not cool suddenly.
  • The geyser / Water heater facility is not available in most of the houseboats.
  • Only a fixed menu consisting of Traditional Kerala cuisines will be available on the boat.
  • Swimming in the lakes is strictly prohibited.
  • Check-in is at 12:00 PM. Check-out is at 09:00 AM for the overnight cruise. In addition, there will be a lunch break for about 1 hour.
  • 99% we will provide the same houseboat as shown in photos. 1% chance of houseboat repair or any maintenance may happen. In this case, we will provide another kind/quality houseboat.
  • Management will not be responsible for the late arrivals; the halting will be as per the normal houseboat timings and the check-out will be as per the time mentioned.
  • Extension of travel based on availability upon extra payment.
  • The Houseboat will anchor between 5:00 PM & 5:30 PM for the night stay and will retain the cruise the next morning. There is no cruising in the lake allowed in the evening hours or late at night.
  • To help maintain the privacy of the Backwater culture, guests are requested to retire to the bedroom and complete the Dinner by 10:00 PM maximum of 10:30 PM.
  • Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen/cook inside the houseboat.
  • The kitchen/cook services are available maximum till 10:00 PM. After that, the kitchen services are not available.
  • Breakage or destruction of any property of the Houseboat would be solely the responsibility of the guest who would be charged for the same.
  • Do take care of your belongings and baggage before you leave from the Houseboat.
  • The presence of flies, and small insects are the Natural Habitat in Backwater. It cannot be 100% eliminated. The presence will be there at night in lights.
  • Kindly cooperate with the crew, so that they can serve you better.
  • The Houseboat captain has the right to change/divert the route based on the traffic, and climate conditions.
